Highlights of St. Augustine Florida include the Castillo de San Marco National Monument (featuring America’s oldest and best preserved 17th century fort), the Colonial Spanish Quarter Museum (a 2 block area that recreates the Spanish settlement), the Oldest House in America and the Oldest Store Museum. Other interesting attractions include the Lightner Museum (an opulent hotel museum) and the Old St. Augustine Village Museum (featuring the colorful and bloody history of the city).

In addition, St. Augustine offers close access to miles of beaches the two best of which are Vilano Beach and Anastasia State Park. Located just a few miles from the center of St. Augustine, Anastasia Sate Park features a protected wide sandy beach free of development, rentals for windsurfing and kayaking and hiking trails.
