You can sit on our super-spacious balcony and gaze at the Atlantic Ocean, a drink in your hand, and feel the cares of the real world melt away. Ours is a full balcony, with a table and chairs overlooking the grounds of the Colony Reef complex and beyond it, the pure blue ocean. That zesty sea breeze is always blowing, and the low rumble of the waves is a constant undercurrent.

The ocean is visible from the master bedroom as well. You will love this room, not only for the king-sized bed (heaven!) but also for the sliding-glass doors that lead you out onto the balcony at moonlight. And if you can wake up early one morning, the sunrise is an amazing sight!

The living room is spacious and airy, with two walls of windows (again, that view!), plenty of comfortable seating, and a new 32" HDTV with HBO. It's a great place to assemble the whole gang to watch a movie or game, or just to nap in the middle of the day, because you're on vacation and you can. There's room for everyone and their stuff here!

The dining area is just beyond the living room, with a big friendly table for 6 within easy reach of the serving counter in the kitchen. With everything so open, the cook doesn't get isolated from the action when it's time to fix dinner. And you'll love our kitchen, even if all you use it for is drinks and takeout. It's fully stocked with major and minor appliances, cookware, dishes, and every utensil you could need. Go to the farthest point and you'll even find a laundry room tucked away, with a full-sized washer and dryer just waiting for you. Everything's at hand here, spotlessly clean, and ready for use.

In addition to the master bedroom, there are 2 other bedrooms at Colony Reef 3404. One is a large room with 2 twin beds, a TV, and plenty of dresser and floor space. The other is what we call the crow's nest, with 2 stationary twin beds in a snug little pouch of a room. The kids will find this space adorable!

If you need more sleeping space, the couch in the living room converts to a sleeper for 2. This is actually a prime spot, because if you leave the drapes open, you'll have a front-row seat for the sunrise over the ocean!

At Colony Reef 3404, all linens, pillows, blankets, and towels are provided, clean and fresh. We also have wireless Internet, so feel free to bring your laptop. The dining table has been known to become a workstation!

Our 2 bathrooms are fully appointed, both with a bathtub as well a shower, and lots of storage space.

As appealing as the inside of the condo is, the location is even better. Take the elevator down from the third floor and you're just steps from the club's private walkway to the beach. This wooden walkway carries you through the dunes in a zigzag fashion, so you can enjoy the natural beauty of the vegetation before reaching the clean white sand for a day of fun.

Our beach is located between St. Augustine Beach and Crescent Beach, so it's not as crowded as those well-traveled destinations. The sands are wide and inviting, the surf's always up, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. Surf, boogie-board, fish, sunbathe, beachcomb, or simply stroll along this beach! You can rent watercraft of all kinds nearby, and if you should tire of the waves, quieter water can be found at the nearby Intracoastal Waterway, with its inlets and nature trails.
