Our two-storey, 2-bedroom, 2½-bathroom townhouse is spacious and well appointed, but your favorite place just may be the balcony! Furnished with casual seating, it's the ideal place to enjoy meals, after-dinner drinks, good conversation, and stargazing. (And if you can manage to wake up early one morning, you'll witness an incredible dawn!) From our balcony you see a beautiful expanse of ocean, one of the resort's 3 oceanview swimming pools, and the path leading to the beach. Go ahead, send the kids on ahead -- you can watch them almost every step of the way!

When you enter our condo, you will find everything immaculately clean and arranged for your convenience. All linens, blankets, pillows, and towel sets are provided for you here, and our big, beautiful kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, and all the timesaving gizmos that make life easier. Be sure to use our washer and dryer, too, so you don't have to wait for clothes to dry before going back to the pool for a final dip before bedtime.

Downstairs includes the living, dining, and kitchen areas, plus the half-bathroom. Our living room is designed for togetherness, from the super-comfy leather couch and loveseat to the cushy rocker, rattan easy chair with footstool, and big TV with DVD player and VCR. The tile floor is cool to the touch -- great for hot, tired "beach feet"! -- and the ceiling fan keeps the air conditioning circulating nicely. Toss some ice cubes and fruit into the blender, kick back in front of your favorite movie, and feel all the tension leave your body. Vacation time, at last!

When the gang gets restless, move into the dining area and indulge in your favorite games. Whether it's Texas Hold 'em or Chutes and Ladders, you'll find it easy to linger in our padded rattan chairs, snacks and drinks within arm's reach on the pass-through counter from the kitchen. In fact, the cook can keep playing even while preparing the refreshments!

Our dining table is also a nice place to set up the laptop and update your Facebook status, look up opening times to your next sightseeing attraction, and check the weather forecast. You have free wireless Internet at Summerhouse 114, so you can stay as connected as you want.

If there's a chef in your group, the sleek appliances, stylish granite countertops, and convenient L-shape of our kitchen will probably be very appealing. But even if nobody wants to touch a skillet all vacation, you'll enjoy the coffeemaker, microwave, dishwasher, icemaker, and other touches that get you out of the kitchen and back to the fun a little faster!

Upstairs in our condo are the two bedrooms and full bathrooms, as well as the washer and dryer. The bedrooms are both cozy and cheerful, with primrose-yellow walls, polished hardwood floors, and a quiet, soothing décor.

The master bedroom boasts a very restful queen-size bed, a large TV with DVD player, his-and-her reading lamps, and plenty of storage space. The en suite bathroom offers a tiled floor and convenient walk-in shower. This entire suite is comfy, spacious, and very pleasant, encouraging long lazy mornings.

The guest room features matching twin beds, and the second full bathroom is located very conveniently just outside this room, with both a bathtub and shower option.

Summerhouse is located on Crescent Beach, just 8 miles south of St. Augustine, yet quite remote and free of crowds. It's the final condo complex north of the Matanzas Inlet, and it is devoted to recreation of all sorts. Here you'll find 4 pools (heated in winter and cooled in summer and all with amazing ocean views), a playground for the children, 6 resurfaced tennis courts, 4 racquet ball courts, 2 basketball courts, grills & picnic area, a new fitness center and even boat storage.
