Palm Coast Resort 306 is on the 3rd floor of an elevator building overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with old live-oak trees and palms, with pathways winding among them and along the bank. There is also a lovely swimming pool here with plenty of lounging space in sun and shade, as well as a bubbly outdoor spa. The marina is less than a 2-minute walk away. Life is mighty good!

Our condo is beautifully decorated and furnished, but your favorite part may just be outdoors: our breezy lanai overlooking the water! With a tiled floor and ultra-comfortable furnishings, this screened-in patio gives you a bird's-eye view of the landscape, from the curvaceous branches of live-oaks to a boat dock and the water beyond.

Bring your first cup of coffee out here in the morning to begin dreaming of another perfect Palm Coast day, and linger after dinner as the last light leaves the sky. It's a view that never grows old!

Step inside the sliding glass doors from the lanai and you're in the living room, where a state-of-the-art entertainment center invites you to sink into the sofa or chair and unwind. The tile floor is pleasantly cool on bare feet, the greenery is refreshing, and the closely-spaced artwork interesting. This is a room with character, a far cry from a generic hotel room. You will feel right at home, and may even be tempted to spend a few nights in!

The living space at Palm Coast Resort 306 is open, encompassing the dining area as well. Our round glass-topped table is just the right size for playing cards (Hearts, anyone?), which is fortunate, because most meals planned for this area end up being taken on the lanai. (That view is just too irresistible!) It's also a good planning center, with strong light under which to spread out maps and brochures, plotting your next excursion!

The kitchen is a designer dream, with stainless-steel appliances, a tiled backsplash and floor, and warm-toned wood cabinetry. It's outfitted to the nines -- you could cook and serve a Thanksgiving feast without using up all the cookware, dishes, and utensils in our cupboards and drawers -- but feel no pressure to perform! The microwave, dishwasher, coffeepot, and blender are quite adequate to the needs of many busy vacationers. But just in case you wind up bringing home fresh-caught seafood one day, it's nice to know you can turn it into a gourmet meal!

Now to the best part of Palm Coast Resort . . . the lanai again! We're back on the lanai because it's also accessible from the glass doors in the master suite, which boasts an incredible view from the king-size bed. Of course, you can shut all that sunlight out with heavy drapes and sleep until noon if you like. But one night you might want to leave them open and let the sunrise wake you!

The master suite is resplendent with an HDTV, DVD player, lots of storage space, and an en suite bathroom. The bed is luxury personified. And the master bath is a delight, with a large soaking tub and separate walk-in shower among tiled floors and walls. No bumping elbows and squeezing past one another in here!

The second and third bedrooms are sleep-inducing too, with carpeting, heavy drapes and blinds, and a calm décor that induces pleasant dreams. One contains a queen bed, the other 2 twins, and both have HDTVs and DVD players. A second full bathroom in convenient to both, and all the linens, towels, blankets, and pillows you need for Palm Coast Resort 306 are waiting for you here, along with a washer and dryer to keep them all fresh!
