Sailfish Cottage is a perfect little hideaway. Tucked in a very quiet and upscale condo community, you’re a moment’s walk from gorgeous St. Augustine Beach and a short drive to the many attractions of the city itself.
This idyllic beach retreat sleeps four guests in two bedrooms. Pets are welcome too, and provided ceramic food and water bowls will make them feel right at home.
Choose Sailfish as a romantic retreat for two, or a great vacation rental for a family of four. Both bedrooms have queen beds and share a full bathroom.
Decorated in great style to a very high standard, the home’s warm cream furnishings and ocean blues make the most of the sun-lit space. Tile floors are lovely to come home to, just slipping off your flip-flops to tuck on the sofa for a movie. Two facing couches are more than enough space for yourself and three guests - it’s a ready-made space for chatting, playing cards or enjoying a cocktail.
Delight in staying here during the winter months, when the fireplace is lovely to return to after an atmospheric beach walk. With a fully stocked kitchen to use, you’ll need somewhere of equal merit to enjoy your meals or gin and tonics. A private patio is mighty nice.
Every morning, treat yourself to a delicious breakfast (healthy or not - who’s counting, it’s your vacation), then pad five minutes down the beach through a quiet neighborhood. It’s very safe for children as there are no streets to cross.
Four-star Surf Crest complex has a fantastic pool available and, with only forty-eight units in the complex, is very quiet. Your privacy is paramount. Very convenient, too, are the in-suite laundry facilities. You can pack as lightly as you like!
Leave the car parked securely in the complex and enjoy St. Augustine’s surrounds on foot. Within walking distance are a dozen great restaurants, so you’ll never need to taxi home after enjoying a bottle of wine. Kids will love mini-golf, watching fish from the pier and beach volleyball, too.
I think you'll love being in St. Augustine Beach, also. You're within walking distance of a dozen great restaurants, mini-golf, the Pier and Wednesday evening volleyball games and concerts. It's a great way to get away from the world and relax!

Awesome! Never saw a cloud the whole week. Took my pet english bulldog and he loved the tile floors and walks to the beach every night. The outside shower proved to be a wonderful bonus after spending a day at the beach. My only negative comment would be with trash day on Thursdays, I had to look at the previous renter's trash spilled over in the yard which included diapers and beer bottles most of my stay. Called the Vacation Pros specialist on Thursday when it was not picked up and they took care of it right away. Thanks for a wonderful vacation and the first one with our new pet. We will be back next year and will use Vacation Pros again.

Family get-away from Ohio

Replaced empty gas grill cylinder immediately. Trash was never picked up. Large burner on inside stove didn't work. No hot tub, even though it was advertised. Otherwise, it was fabulous and we would return again, and again.

The Sailfish Cottage is JUST ADORABLE!! We all loved our vacation in St. Augustine, and the location of this cottage is just perfect - close to the beach, close to downtown, but not too close, and close to wonderful local restaurants! The outside shower is AWESOME - brought back alot of memories of the summers at the Jersey Shore!! We will definately be coming back to stay at this location, thank you sooo much!! Magnificant Vacation

You left out a few catagories: Neighbors, Fantastic, freindly, helpful. Access to the ocean, magnificant, there's a gazibo on the walkway you can hang out at for hours. Distance from stores, just right. Not to close so as to bug you but not so far you have to plan on a trip. Also, awsome restaurants within walking distance. I loved walking to Mango Mangos' down the street then walking the ocean back. It is truly a romantic spot.

St.Augustine Beach cottage stay...

Our first visit to St. Augustine was such a delightful time for us. The cottage was as described and only complaint would be the TV connection was troublesome...however a tech did come and replace the cable box, which resolved the problem. We LOVED being so close to the beach and the pet friendly neighborhood.
