We are so delighted with this little yellow dune house in Summer Haven. Every room on the 2nd floor has a beautiful view of the water The beach is nearly deserted. The decks are wide and wonderful.
Oceanfront beach house on the dunes in Summer Haven for your quiet family vacation anytime of the year. I know you'll just love it here. On the 2nd level, three bedrooms, each with a great view, a nice great living room with a view, kitchen with a view - and the river in the back yard! On the newly constructed 1st level, there are two bedrooms and 1 full bathroom plus an extra living room and a kitchenette. Perfect for two families traveling together. Note: The 1st floor and 2nd floors are accessed via an external stairway.
Sitting on a spit of land between the Atlantic Ocean and the Matanzas River, it’s a water lover’s dream. Go for a morning swim and then enjoy an outdoor shower before waking the family with a delicious cooked breakfast. Florida oranges taste even better with these views, or how about bacon eaten atop retro diner stools?
Your ample communal space includes a living room and fully stocked kitchen, both with ocean views. Enjoy your home-cooked meals outside on the large decks and wonder how you’ll ever manage to leave.
Sunrise Sunset is a five bedroom three bath beach house, with generous decks and views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway that go on forever and ever! With big windows, beautiful floors, big decks and great views. The beach here in Summer Haven is so quiet and so beautiful - very broad at low tide with a beautiful white sand mixed with coquina sand, and still wonderful at high tide.
This very well-maintained home is particularly special for its huge windows and pristine wooden floors. Furnishings are bright and delightful, with lots of interest added in accents and tropical house plants. The living room’s lime green couches make a great spot for an afternoon nap. LCD TVs are a lovely touch and the fireplace is perfect for winter rentals.
The house is set up in a Zen like manner - simple and comfortable. There's a nice outdoor shower out back. This is just a great place for a vacation. Bring the kids and dogs - everyone can safely roam here!
Quiet and charming Summer Haven has long been a secret amongst the country’s elite. Since its back-country beginnings in 1885, this sleep seaside town has provided lucky visitors a taste of the other side of Florida. Before loud resorts and frenetic amusement parks, the cream of northern society vacationed here for languid days and lazy nights.
Your pets are very welcome and they’ll go crazy for all the sights and sounds on offer. Quiet roads and surrounds make this a safe spot both for pets and kids. The beaches remain nearly deserted, even in peak season.
For day trips, you’re spoiled for choice. Fort Matanzas makes a great afternoon out - and is just a 2-minute drive away. St. Augustine is a must-see as well, about a half hour’s drive.

A wonderful vacation! The house and location were perfect for our family. If we had a larger family, the new downstairs would have been a great asset.

Staying in a charming house that had the Atlantic ocean almost in the front yard was a dream come true.
debbie s. from Kalamazoo, MI, United States, (Reviewed on 22 Mar 2010)
We loved waking up to the beautiful sunrises, making coffee in the open kitchen, and walking/running our pup on the almost deserted beach each morning. The beds were extremely comfortable and the wrap around deck provided a perfect view in every direction. We only had to drive 5 miles for groceries and 5-10 miles for an assortment of stores and restaurants. We were close enough to tour charming, historic St. Augustine, and the oldest Lighthouse. We were also able to reach the manager when we had questions. She was very nice and helpful. We loved being able to bring our pup on this lovely vacation. It was a wonderful and relaxing experience for this family of four, and one that we would enjoy doing again.
