Great Location

The best thing about this unit is the location. 3 min walk to the gulf. It was remodeled from last year when we stayed here. The pool is not heated as stated in their ad. The bedroom had no dresser because they removed all the furniture that was in there and replaced it with massive furniture. Hence no room for a dresser. Our suitcases were on the floor until I complained and got a table to put them on. The bathroom sink did not drain and got them to get some drano. It worked. It has a great view now, but only sleeps 2 not 4 as the ad states. No sleeper sofa. The TV remote did not turn the TV on or off. You had to manually do this.(old style TV also) With the price you are paying it should have a control that you don't have to get up off the couch to turn TV on or off. If you are staying here for a month and rent unit 3, make sure there is something to put your suitcases on or they will be on the floor. Unless they change somethings here (new owners)I would not come back here again unless they heat the pool, put a dresser in the bedroom and got a new TV. We only stayed a week. From what I understand they will be only renting monthly now. Last year I had no complaints, (different owner)

I booked the vacation for two, but my friend changed her mind at the last moment, and I went with my dog. The condo is OK. Not great, but is OK. Located within walking distance to a private beach, is a plus, and the area seems to be very safe. I had problems with the air once, and the maintenance person came and took care of it right away. The mattress was hard, but then I am used to a pillow case mattress. lol. It was a good place above all. I wouldn't not recommended to a woman alone, because you don't know who will be the other units guesses, but for a couple, a family with children, and people with a dog, it is a nice, but simple, place to stay.

Location, location, clean, pool on site, online registration easy and efficient

The location was ideal only a few steps to the beach. We were impressed with the private onsite pool and the lovely historic community of Venice Island. The apartment was overall in good shape with fresh ceramic tiled floors throughout, however, the kitchen, older fixtures, bathtub all in need of serious upgrading. We would return in another year if the opportunity occurred.

We loved the fact that it wasn't too crowded and that the kids could swim any time that they wanted. The beach was less than a 5 minute walk which was great. Shopping wasn't as close but that was okay since it wasn't but a 5 minute drive and we didnt go there to shop anyway. Overall, my family and I had a great experience and will be coming back again soon.

This condo is in a great location to the Gulf, only a 3 min. walk. Very close to grocery stores and restaurants. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood also. The condo needs to be updated, but all in all it had everything we needed for 2 people.

loved the proximity to the beach and to the dog park beach! also loved having a pool steps from our front door. great neighborhood! even though we had problems the first 2 days, the property manager did everything in his power to fix things as quickly as possible. we appreciated the attentiveness.

Golden Beach Resort/Unit 3

Venice is wonderful and our stay at Golden Beach Resort was very adequate. It wasn't the Ritz, could use a little more spark; however, you are not there to stay in the house. The location is quite a plus as it is so close to the beach, and not to far from the GREAT downtown area. It is in a very nice residential area which made it great for walking, relaxing and feeling quite safe. The pool and surrounding area was quite nice for relaxing with a cup of coffee and the morning paper. All in all we were quite pleased, and will probably go again.

Spring Break vacation

The location is very good. One block from beach access, neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Close to downtown Venice area and municipal golf course. The pool is fine. The furniture in the unit is average, the kitchen/dining area is minimal and could be updated. This unit is in an excellent location and that is it's strength. Overall, we enjoyed the trip and would stay there again for the cost.

The husband and wife team was extremly helpful and courteous. If we needed anything they were there in less than half a day and even sent someone over quickly when they couldn't themselves be there within hours. Nice location close to town and the beach. Overall very looking forward to next time.

My family could not ask for a more pleasurable vist. Everyone was cery helpful and went out of thier way for our stay. And I should say we did not give a very long time to subment our request for our rental. It was a great beach! We went for our 21 year old son's memorial at enternal reef dedication,it was a sad time for us. But we as a family learned we could LIVE AGAIN WITH JOY & PLEASURE once we were together & having fun at the beach (like Richard would like, He always wanted to be a beach bum since he was young!Thank You All!
