Our condo was designed, furnished, and decorated with vacationers in mind, so you'll find lots of nice little touches that make good use of your precious free time: a full kitchen with all major and minor appliances plus cookware, utensils, and dishes; a washer and dryer right in the condo; two full bathrooms, both with bathtub and shower facilities; and free wireless Internet at the Club House. We also provide all linens, pillows, blankets, and towels, so you don't have to worry about packing any of that. It's like visiting a friend's house, except that you don't have to clean up!

Let's start with the lanai, since you may find yourself looking for excuses to spend more time out here. It's just so nice: a quick reminder that you're near the ocean, as the salty breeze washes over you. You'll love sitting out here with a frosty drink after the kids have been put to bed, enjoying the balmy night and the distant murmur of the waves. You can get to the lanai from the master bedroom as well as the living room, making it ideal for those moonlight moments.

The living room is a great family entertainment space, with a very comfortable couch (that converts to a sleeper for 2) and loveseat, a brand new Sanyo 42" flatscreen HDTV with DVD player, and plenty of kid-friendly floor space on our plush blue carpet. After a day at the beach or sightseeing, come back to Ocean Village Club G35 and collapse in this room for some much-needed downtime.

Of course, should anyone still be up for games, our dining room table doubles as the scene of many a Candyland adventure! It seats 6 comfortably -- you'll soon become addicted to those padded chairs -- and is a good place to pop open the laptop to upload some new vacation photos to your Facebook page. And it's near enough to the living room that the multi-taskers in your group can simultaneously play a game and watch TV! The dining area is convenient to the kitchen, too, via a long serving counter.

The living area of our condo is open and airy, promoting fun and togetherness. The sleeping area, on the other hand, is nicely private, with muted tones to induce calm. You'll love the master suite, with its firm queen-size bed, TV, and en suite bathroom. This room is your retreat from all the activity of the day, and you will find it very easy to sleep late every morning here.

The second bedroom is equally relaxing, with matching twin beds. If you are traveling with small children, you will find this room invaluable for the afternoon nap. And the second bathroom is just outside the door of this room, making it very convenient for those middle-of-the-night trips!

Our condo is located on the third floor of a building right in the heart of the Ocean Village Club complex. You know that the tennis courts and one of the pools are two steps away, but so is the clubhouse, with its fitness center, lending library, and guest computer. The complex also has a second pool, so close to the ocean that you can see the waves! There's shuffleboard courts, picnic tables, BBQ grills, and -- most importantly -- a private walkway down to the beach. Our condo complex has everything you need for good family fun on this vacation!

Your first excursion will probably be to the beach, and you'll be so glad you made it a priority. St. Augustine Beach is a wide, family-friendly strip of coastline. Beachcombers collect shells and sharks' teeth at low tide; fishermen try their luck in the surf; sunbathers stretch out on the clean white sands; and water lovers play in the waves. If you can manage it, try to get to the beach at dawn one morning. The sunrise is spectacular!
