Across from Flagler College on a quiet magnolia-lined street in the heart of the historic district sits Towncenter Cottage, our historic 1920's Craftsman-style house. Newly renovated, it's the perfect combination of modern comfort and vintage charm!

From our ultra-comfortable screened-in front porch, you can hear the clop of the horses' feet as the carriages roll by. Boasting polished hardwood flooring and brand-new, ultra-comfortable white wicker furniture with plump cushions, our huge porch is the perfect place to while away a long, beautiful evening in St. Augustine, before strolling down to Cordova Street (just yards away) to take in the sights, or retiring to the privacy of the backyard to dine al fresco beneath the palm trees.

Step inside our cottage and you immediately see big, long windows, hardwood floors, high ceilings, and all the design details you'd expect from the period -- plus the modern comforts such as air conditioning, of course! Our living room is a gracious area, with very relaxing couches, one of which pulls out into a bed for 2. This is a place where the kids will immediately feel at home and their parents will unwind after a long day sightseeing in the Old City.

The living area extends into the adjacent dining room, with a very comfortable easy chair beside a lovely window in one corner (great for reading bedtime stories to the little ones or finishing that novel late into the night!). The dining table stands in front of a trompe l'oeil painting on a vintage pink wall, so that at first glance the house seems to extend to a courtyard. It's the fun little design touches like this that make Towncenter Cottage such a pleasure to stay in!

The big dining room table is great for group meals, and it also doubles as a game and computer center. You have free wireless Internet at Towncenter Cottage, and we've even got a printer you're welcome to use. So whether you're visiting Flagler College on business or just want to print out directions to the Castillo San Marcos, set up your laptop and make yourself at home!

The kitchen is a delight at Towncenter Cottage, with a breakfast bar, open cabinets, plenty of space, and all the "mod cons" that make life easier (and reduce time spent working in the kitchen!). From the coffeemaker and toaster to the dishwasher and microwave, we've got all the appliances you need to prepare and serve anything quickly. Dishes, cookware, flatware -- you'll find it all here! Make a grocery run on your way into town and you're fixed up for the whole trip!

But the most important part of any vacation is getting a great night's sleep, and you'll love the bedrooms at Towncenter Cottage. There are 2, plus the sleeper sofa in the living room, with one full and one half-bath. Perfect for big families and groups or even up to 2 families traveling together!

The master bedroom contains an ultra-luxurious queen-sized bed with his-and-her lamps, hardwood floors, and long windows. This is a quiet space in which to decompress and sleep late!

The second bedroom can also become a family room, with a double daybed, TV, carpeted floors, and plenty of windows.

The full bathroom is convenient to the bedrooms, with both a shower and tub option. You'll love the vintage pink tiles and striped wallpaper! The half-bath is just off the kitchen, convenient to the living and dining areas. All the linens, towel sets, pillows, and blankets you need for Towncenter Cottage are provided here, plus a washer and dryer for your use. Pack light -- we've got it all!

Towncenter Cottage has several TVs with cable, as well as a VCR, DVD, and stereo system for your enjoyment. We have a lovely front yard and a fenced backyard, plus off-street parking for 2 cars. It's the perfect blend of privacy and convenience, and you're going to love it here! Which is good, because we want you to come back.
