A vacation should include plenty of silly fun, and our comfy family home 4 blocks from the beach is perfect for that! With a big swimming pool, cabana with bar and half-bath, and fenced-in backyard with playground equipment, we've got at-home fun to spare!

Ideal for short- or long-term stays, Tropical Cabana is immaculately clean, fully stocked, and ready for action! The backyard is definitely the star of the show, with a brightly colored poolhouse set with a rainbow of bar stools, boogie boards mounted onto the ceiling, and a big fan to keep everyone cool. The pool is so inviting, and the climbing gym and soft grass of the yard make it a place you want to stay all day. (And with a half-bath right in the cabana, you can!) Oh -- did we mention the patio outside the back door, with a grill and lounge chairs?

The backyard is fun from morning 'til bedtime, but the house offers a cool, quiet alternative to all that Florida sunshine and water. Step inside from the backyard and you're in our Florida room, which runs the length of the house. On one end is a cozy family area with a plump cushioned couch and chairs, a big TV with DVD player, and plenty of floor space for the kids to sprawl out with coloring books and toys. On the other end is an office space (you have free wireless Internet at Tropical Cabana, so bring your laptop!). And in the middle is a piano, our extensive collection of VHS and DVD movies (watch any you like), and a row of cushioned bar stools along the huge windows for viewing the antics in the pool!

If you're looking for a quieter place, our formal living room on the other end of the house is a great spot for winding down. The furniture is leather, and includes a recliner and two ultra-comfortable couches. The cool tiled floor sports an Oriental rug, and a big TV with all its associated electronics is nestled in one corner. Turn on the game, put up your feet, and relax!

Right beside the living room is the kitchen, which is newly remodeled and an absolute pleasure to use. Yes, cooking can be tiresome, but it definitely helps to have a big sunny window over the sink, a TV in the corner, and sparkling new appliances and cabinets around you! We've stocked our kitchen with all the cookware, dishes, and utensils you might ever need, plus a bunch of timesavers such as a microwave, coffeemaker, icemaker, and blender. So whether you want to linger in the kitchen creating a delicious feast or get in and out with a frosty pitcher of fruity drinks in 10 seconds flat, we've got you covered!

In the unlikely event that you decide to eat indoors instead of around the pool, we have a spacious dining room. Our long wooden table doubles as a game or craft center, and has been known to host Uno competitions, Prettiest Beach Shell contests, birthday parties, and more. After a long day outdoors, it's fun to gather around the table for drinks and good conversation late into the evening.

And when it's time to retire for the night, rest assured that everyone is going to sleep well at Tropical Cabana! The 3 bedrooms are painted in soft pastels and furnished so comfortably that the little ones might even sleep late in the morning!

The master bedroom is a lime sherbet confection with big sunny windows and an ultra-relaxing queen-sized bed. A ceiling fan keeps it even cooler, and a TV entertains you long past lights-out. (What's the fun of being on vacation if you can't catch the late late show?!)

The second bedroom offers 1 double and 1 twin, and also has a TV. The third bedroom is carpeted, with 2 sets of bunkbeds that invite the creation of blanket forts and tunnels! Expect plenty of bedtime giggles as the ankle-biters discover how fun double bunks can be!

Our bathroom contains both a shower and tub option, and contains all the towels your gang needs. You'll find complete bedding and pillows waiting for you here too, plus a washer and dryer to keep everything clean. Pack light and relax!
