Owned by a family. There son, Ron Westrom is the Executive Chef with 12 years of extensive professional culinary background.

Very good food and nice bar. Located off of 41 heading towards Sarasota. ( Near Hampton Inn)

6. Sharkys on the Venice Pier.
The food is overpriced and smaller portions. But, people come for the drinks and the sunset.

7. Pop's Sunset in Nokomis
The food is much better than Sharkys and much more reasonable. As are the drinks.
It is on the intercoastal - so you can watch boats and wildlife. You just won't be able to see a full sunset.
8. Carrabbas in Sarasota
Owned by the Outback. Everything is made fresh that day. Great pasta, pizza and fish, chicken,
veal and steak dishes. I am amazed at what a great value this restaurant is for the quality of the food. We have been to this restaurant over a dozen time and have never been disappointed. 9. Bonefish in Sarasota
Also owned by the Outback. A seafood version - that is currently the rave of Sarasota.

For a very special splurge, this restaurant is it in my opinion. You can travel to Lido Key's
