Florida Airports


There are 4 airports in vicinity of Palm Coast.

A. Daytona Airport - 25 miles away. Closest airport, but the most expensive.

B. St. Augustine Airport  - 25 miles away. Now serviced by Skybus which is offering tickets for as low as $10. Skybus' hub is in Columbus OH. Check their web site out at www.skybus.com  

C. Jacksonville Airport (JAX) - 70 miles. Easy drive down US 95. Serviced by low cost carriers like Air Tran, Southwest and Jet Blue. Cheaper car rentals.

D. Orlando Airport - 80 miles. The biggest airport in the area. Lot's of direct flights!!!  Lot's of cheap rentals.


A.  Fort Myers Airport
If you are planning to visit the Venice area and are looking for an affordable flight, consider flying into Southwest Florida International Airport in Ft. Myers. Especially if you are coming from an international country or from a location on the other side of the United States, flying into Ft. Myers may be the most reasonably priced choice. Ft. Myers sits on the southwest Gulf Coast and easily connects to Venice by Interstate 75 and US-41/Tamiami Trail for an easily accessible 70-mile trip. Depending on weather and traffic conditions, the drive from Ft. Myers to Venice should take between 1 to 1 ½ hours.

B. Sarasota-Bradenton Airport
Approximately 28 miles and 40 minutes away from Venice is the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. If you are planning to fly into the Venice area from a commercial U.S. airline or a major international airline, the Sarasota airport is a good option. The airport houses 6 major airline carriers, including American Eagle, Continental, US Airways, Delta, Northwest, and AirFrance, as well as a few regional commuter airlines like AirTran and Florida Coastal. C.  Tampa Airport
If you are planning on staying in one of the vacation rental homes in Venice, don’t forget to look for reasonable airline prices at the Tampa International Airport. With more than 21 commercial airline carriers and nearly 18 million passengers passing through the Tampa airport on a yearly basis, this is the largest airport within 100 miles of Venice. Located approximately 78 miles north of Venice, which will take between 1 hour and an 1 ½ to drive, this is a great option for travelers trying to save some extra vacation spending money.
