This 11-mile valley road is surrounded by mountains and one of the most popular destinations to auto-tour! It offers some of the best opportunities for wildlife viewing in the park. Large numbers of white-tailed deer are frequently seen, as well as black bears, coyotes, ground hogs, turkeys, and other animals are also possible. Allow at least 2-4 hours to tour Cades Cove, longer if you walk some of the area’s trails.
