The screened-in balcony of Santa Maria 208 overlooks the pool. It’s furnished with a table and chairs so that you can enjoy after-dinner drinks--or even dinner!--out among the salt-kissed breezes and the rustling palm trees.
Or you can keep open the sliding glass balcony doors and let the fresh air perfume the spacious, elegant living room. With its generously proportioned leather sofas, large HDTV, and sophisticated decor, this is a room designed for lounging in style and comfort. There’s enough space to invite friends over for a movie-and-game night and even to spend the night: One of the sofas opens into a bed for two, so that Santa Maria 208 can sleep up to six people total.
When you’re not eating on the balcony, at one of the complex’s outdoor grill areas, or in one of the many restaurants within walking distance, you can dine at the unit’s luxe table, which can accommodate six people with ease. The well-padded chairs are so comfortable, you’ll be happy to linger long after the meal is over.
Updated with new appliances in the spring of 2019, the kitchen has everything (except food!) to satisfy your culinary needs: appliances, cookware, prep tools, tableware, and plenty of storage so that you can stock up on groceries at the beginning of your stay. There’s even a blender for whipping up milkshakes or margaritas plus a dishwasher--after all, why scrub plates when you can be lounging by the pool! For the same reason, Santa Maria 208 has its own washer and dryer as well.
The two bedrooms are serene sanctuaries featuring brand new mattresses that make it easy for you to catch up on your sleep. The primary bedroom includes a truly luxe king-size bed, an HDTV and more than enough storage. The second bedroom is nearly as grand, with a queen-size bed and new 32-inch flat screen TV that makes Santa Maria 208 as well suited for two couples as for a family. Each bedroom has its own full-size bathroom--no waiting on line in the morning! The beds will be freshly made when you arrive, and clean towels and extra bedding will be waiting; if you want to take a nap or a bath your first order of business, you can!
Though once you see the spectacular heated pool, you may want to take a swim first thing. The pool just might be the largest on Fort Myers Beach; it’s certainly among the nicest. After your swim--or your soak in the hot tub!--stretch out on one of the poolside lounge chairs and watch seabirds soar overhead. Don’t forget your sunscreen: The ambiance is so relaxing, you just might fall asleep out there!
Santa Maria also has deck areas outfitted with gas grills, tables, and chairs so that you can barbecue and dine alongside the canal. As well as boats parading by, you just might see manatees frolicking in the water!
Not only is Santa Maria located right on a canal, but it’s also next to a marina, where you can rent a pontoon or charter a fishing boat. Like the water but not boating? You can walk to the Gulf of Mexico and the beach in less than five minutes. Swim, race jet skis, search for shells or simply watch the dolphins and manatees play in the serene waters.
Also within walking distance are a golf course, restaurants, shops, and the trolley that runs the length of the island, making it easy to get to the fun of the Times Square area on the northern end without having to drive. A few miles south is Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike, bike, canoe and kayak among bald eagles, marsh rabbits, sea turtles and even alligators.
Everything you could want from a Florida getaway is only steps away when you stay at Santa Maria 208. That’s why you should reserve your vacation today… before someone else beats you to it!

Management was a bit abrupt in making it "very clear" that there could be no early entry. Most management companies that we have used will usually allow entry an hour or so early if the unit has been cleaned. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying. Management did promptly repair an inoperable garbage disposal immediately after notification. Be aware that entry to the island can be frustratingly lengthy. The bridge is one lane each way and traffic frequently backs up both coming and going. Also during our visit there was sewer installation going forward in the roadway causing additional delays. Heavy traffic can add 1/2-1 hour backups in getting to the less congested southern part of the island where the condo is located. Nearby shopping center has several restaurants that are quite adequate. All in all we would definitely consider a return visit if vacationing on Ft. Myers Beach.

The manatees were out at the bay pier every morning. It was so enjoyable to watch the momma & her calves play. I highly recommend this property to anyone & everyone!
